You don't conform, to the official standard. I'm glad they did. Not to conform to the average or approved or "normal" is not necessarily a virtue, but it does always prove you can think for yourself and take a stand accordingly. It was notable and important during the four dreadful years of the Covid Swindle, when those who could sense some or most of what was really going on refused to obey the relentless urging of Officialdom and would not wear masks, or stay home, or keep six feet apart from others, or accept a jab of a purported vaccine, also known as a "clot shot." I wore an appoved mask only when needing access to where a "no mask, no entry" rule was enforced, but protested it by imprinting on it the words shown. They got attention. The Cochrane Report later amply justified the last of them, by proving that the masks did nothing whatever to impede the possible spread of any respiratory-illness bug. Otherwise, though, it was depressing to notice, week after week, on my visits to the supermarket for groceries, I was the only person in the store not wearing a mask. Even in New Hampshire, the "Live Free or Die" State, Americans are profoundly conformist. What Nanny tells them to do, they do. Why? A good part of the answer came in the recent ZGBlog Beware!
